I Can’t See Myself In This Landscape is an audio walk that transports individuals through different times and spaces of Kuala Lumpur.
Combining layers of history, memory, and speculation, this 60-minute work will guide walkers on a journey through the city.
During this journey, the walker will time travel through the fortunes, foundations, fantasies, forces and flows that once shaped colonial and Downtown Kuala Lumpur—while paying attention to the external and the internal, observing the rhythms of the contemporary city and the pulse of their own body.
It is highly recommended to begin the audio walk at 6:00pm at the starting location, Tapak C (Lawn), by playing the first track—or at a time when the heat of the day has softened.
